I've been seeing a pair of Arctic Loons on the west side of the lake every day. I drove back later and got a picture of them. They were pretty far away so it's not a great shot. But they are my favorite birds up here.

Saw a Bear!
It got really cold running around the lake today but I ran a lot faster than usual. Once I got to the north side of the lake, I think I ran even faster because a trucker pointed out a couple of grizzly bears about 1/2 mile away. Fortunately they stayed where they were. I just ran 5 miles today.
