It was cold and windy and nasty out there today, but I ran a nice brisk 5 miles. I did take the day off yesterday because my legs were hurting too much. I don't want to do damage! I want to make progress in my training. But today I felt great and was glad I got back out there. With each mile, I feel closer to a cure, if only because it will help me be in good enough shape to continue running these events for Team In Training. I don't want to be crawling across the finish line! But if that's what it takes, that's what I will do.
