It was a very warm day, about 80 degrees and I was miserably slow but I managed to cross the finish line of the Bahamas Marathon still standing. It really was a lovely course all along the oceanfront. Just a tad warm for my Alaskan blood though. This was marathon number 40 for me and also my 10th country, which now makes me a voting member in the Marathon Globetrotters Club.

I really enjoyed meeting so many of them. We had our first official meeting there in the Bahamas. It was so nice to have a few friends along the way while I was running too. I even had a little cheering section as I finally stumbled across the finish line.
